On an August afternoon, Bekah and Dominic said I do in front of their close family and friends. A ceremony in the Black Hills overlooking Bridal Veil Falls near Spearfish was a perfect scene to say ‘I do’!

This wedding is all about being in the right place at the right time because that is how I met Bekah and Dom. My family was traveling back from Yellowstone. That morning we woke up and spent sunrise taking pictures of Moose in the Big Horn Mountains before driving toward Rapid City. After spending 5 hours in the car, we decided why not drive a little more and take the scenic route back to Rapid City. Outside of Spearfish, we pulled over at a waterfall to stretch our legs, take in the view and maybe a little hike, but we soon realized we were among a wedding. We kept our distance for respect of the couple, but noticed they didn’t have a photographer. It appeared a parent was taking photos with their cell phone. When the party was walking toward their car, I approached and asked if they wanted a few images. Our short encounter felt meant to be and I am so blessed to have accidentally met them!
